Hazzan Alisa Pomerantz-Boro is available for a number of appearances throughout the year. She performs with piano accompaniment, and is able to scale up to trio, quartet, and even orchestra, depending on the size and scope of your event. Her large repertoire is easily adaptable for all kinds of events and commemorations. The Hazzan has a well-defined program, however she is more than comfortable sharing the stage for trio and ensemble performance including the local host Hazzan, if there is one.
Most recently, Alisa has been touring with three fellow cantors (Jen Cohen, Magdalena Fishman, and Elizabeth Shammash), the "Divas on the Bima". These four performers are all full-time hazzanim with congregations of their own, but come from diverse backgrounds and specialties, including Nashville, opera, and instrumental performance.
