I am humbled and honored to be the first recipient of The Cantors Assembly Nancy Abramson Hazon Visionary Award in recognition of cantors who embody the essence of our title "Hazzan" and are visionaries within our field.
A visionary is someone who sees what is, imagines new possibilities of what could be, and follows the path of that vision to bring it to fruition. A visionary breaks new boundaries and inspires others through example. Nominees have displayed the sacred work of a visionary, and whose vision we expect to continue to inspire us in the future.”
